Yanka Meeus graduated with distinction in a Master of Laws from the Catholic University of Leuven in June 2024. Her focus was criminal law (Maior) and private law (Minor).
In September 2024, Yanka started her bar internship at our firm under the guidance of Mr Hans Van de Wal.
Yanka specialises in contract and commercial law, as well as (financial) criminal law.
Together with Mr Hans Van de Wal, Yanka assists multinationals, major banks and SMEs in various legal services, ranging from advice on new contracts as well as assistance in the interpretation, application and performance of agreements. She also provides advice and assistance during legal proceedings in other forms of contracts, such as contracting.
In the area of criminal law, she assists clients in criminal proceedings (defendant and victim).
