Esra Açıkgöz obtained her Master of Laws degree from the University of Antwerp in 2022. During her studies, she focused on corporate and civil law.
After taking the oath in September 2022, she began her traineeship under the supervision of Mr. Tom Degeeter. Esra joined the elegis team in March 2024, and since September 2025 she has been registered as a lawyer on the roll of the Antwerp Bar.
Within the firm, Esra mainly works with Mr. Tom Degeeter, who specialises in insolvency law and companies in financial difficulty. She also closely collaborates with Mr. Peter Henriksen, handling matters related to commercial and company law.
Esra’s practice covers various fields of business law, including commercial and company law, insolvency law, contract law, and construction law. She assists both individuals and companies in advisory and litigation matters.
