
Marie-Christine Craen graduated cum laude as Master of Law from the University of Antwerp (UAntwerp) in 1980.
She started working for the lawyer’s office elegis – Huybrechts, Engels, Craen & Partners in 1980 and was admitted to the Antwerp Bar in October 1980.
She has been a partner with elegis – Huybrechts, Engels, Craen & Partners from October 1, 1983.
Marie-Christine Craen specialises in social law (labour law and social security). She is also active in the field of commercial intermediaries and commercial agents as well as contract law (contracts – litigations). She serves a national and international clientele.
She offers assistance in Dutch, French, English or German at the client’s choice. Assistance and advice is customised in view of the client’s specific needs. Marie-Christine insists on a quick and open correspondence in order to offer clients practical and pragmatic solutions.
She is active for VOKA in Antwerp, the Flanders’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry and she is a member of the Terralex Labour and Employment Practice Group.
She is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences concerning labour law and social issues, both in Belgium and abroad.
